Shifting Gears Pullover

Even though I’m not the slightest bit mechanical, I find the images of the moving gears fascinating and beautiful. I tried to invoke the image of gears while designing this pullover to give a sense of movement as the colour changes around the yoke.

Shifting Gears is a top-down circular yoke pullover, with stranded colourwork throughout the yoke and extended into the upper body and sleeves. The sleeves are put on hold while the body is worked, then knit down from the underarm to the cuff.

Cascade 220 (100% Wool, Worsted weight), at 220 yards (201 m) per skein, or yarn with similar properties.
