Dernback History offers over 4,000 slideshow presentations accompanied by digital, self-grading tests. In the field of history, I have single-handedly solved a problem that the Swedish state has yet to address: providing teachers with ready-made instructional materials that include digital quizzes—graded automatically for entire classes in just five seconds. This saves 10 hours per test compared to the time a teacher would spend creating such materials themselves. Producing these materials manually would otherwise take 120 hours per teacher annually, representing a cost—or lost value—of one billion kronor (based on 30,000 teachers and an hourly rate of 400 kronor). Furthermore, these resources can be utilized for recruitment purposes and various types of quizzes—whether played at home or down at the pub.
