Samsung S90C and S95C OLED TV series picture settings - HDR (2023)
This product contains one document in PDF format that will help you get a better picture and understand picture controls on Samsung 2023 S90C and S95C OLED TVs:
1. HDR10/HLG picture settings that can be used for watching movies and TV shows from different sources such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Ultra HD Blu-ray discs and
2. HDR10/HDR10+ picture settings for playing games where the screen needs to be responsive
This document contains picture settings I obtained after performing complete High Dynamic Range (HDR) calibration on Samsung 55-inch 55S90C (S90C QD-OLED TV 2023 series) for the European market. The calibration was done for HDMI limited range 4:2:2 YPrPb (component) signal, BT.2020 color space, SMPTE ST.2084 EOTF (Electro-Optical Transfer Function), HDR10 signal and white point target D65. The same recommendations are applicable to HLG and HDR10+ signals.
All adjustments are done in the user menus (no need to enter service mode). The document contains 2-point (bright and dark) white balance values for general content and 2-point white balance values for Game mode.

There is no guarantee that they will give you the best picture which is in line with industry standards and suitable for your viewing environment, especially for greyscale accuracy. If you want a guaranteed calibrated picture, hire a professional TV calibrator (for example with an ISF certificate, more info at http://www.imagingscience.com).
