About:
Uan is the word for lamb in Gaelic, and when I created these little boot cuffs, I knew they needed an equally dainty name.

I have always had a soft spot for sheep. They are cute, sweet and they make wool! As William Morris said, “Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” This is something I strive for in my life.

These boot cuffs check both boxes: useful and beautiful. They are perfect for gift knitting or for a quick little project for yourself. This pattern, written in six sizes, is easy enough for a confident beginner but engaging enough for a more advanced knitter. Be sure to check out the Wee Uan Boot Cuffs for the smaller folk in your life.

Whether you make one pair or a whole flock, my hope is that you enjoy every stitch with these little sheep. Life is stressful; your knitting doesn’t have to be.
