Aranello Hat

Aranello is a slightly slouchy hat with interesting cables and a little bit of lace. The hat is knitted seamlessly in the round from bottom up.
SIZES
One size: finished size: 45 cm / 18” to fit 55-57.5 cm / 22-23” head circumference.
Length (from CO to top): 22.5 cm / 9”
YARN
1 skein of Martin’s Lab Comfy Aran (100% Wool - Merino; 166m / 182y per 100g) or about 160m of any other aran weight yarn.
Sample shown in Wheat colorway.
NEEDLES
4.5 mm (US #7) circular and dpns needles, or size needed to get the right gauge;
3.75 mm (US #5) circular and dpns needles, or two sizes smaller than the gauge needles.
ADDITIONAL MATERIALS
1 stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle for weaving ends.
GAUGE
24 sts and 30 rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 “ - in cable pattern with 4.5 mm (US #7) needles, unstretched, after wet blocking.
Adjust needle size if necessary to get given gauge.
