Flappy Cabler – PDF knitting pattern

This is a romantic, graceful Hat with long drapey ear-flaps and offset cables.


Pattern is worked top down, with two choices of crown included, and the ear-flaps are optional should you wish for a beanie with this stitch pattern. Shown in pixie crown version.

153 [180, 196] yd/139 [164, 178] m
22yd/20m for a 6x6in/15x15cm swatch in St.St.
Heavy Worsted weight, single ply yarn.

Needles & Notions

Set 5mm/UK6/US8 DPNs/Circular or size needed to obtain gauge
Stitch marker as necessary
Tapestry needle
Cable needle
5mm crochet hook (optional)
32yd/20m co-ordinating yarn (optional)
