one of the biggest problems I see in my sneaker restoration business is when you get a new pair of kicks, whether it’s suede/nubuck or leather. The don’t put any kind of protection on them before wearing them with a new pair of blue jeans.

Then those new blue jeans leave blue dye on your kicks.

A few more wears later they will try to clean them.

That how you ruin your shoes.

Instead before you put your foot in your new kicks spray them with a shoe repellent.

Not once…but multiple times.

This is where a lot of people screw up.

They spray their kicks once and figure that’s it.

Wrong…

You need to spray them multiple times at first. Let them dry each time. Then at least once a month spray them again.
