I know some people might be wondering why Cary is a Christmas avatar even though it’s already May so I just wanted to explain a little. Cary was originally supposed to come out back in December, but over the past few months I’ve honestly been struggling mentally and creatively. Making avatars takes a LOT more time, energy, and money than people think, and after Maya didn’t really get sales, it hit my motivation and confidence harder than I expected. I started overthinking everything and questioning if I even wanted to continue creating at all. I took breaks while working on Cary because I didn’t want to force creativity when I was mentally drained. On top of that, parts of her project broke in Unity and I had to rebuild/fix things multiple times, which pushed everything back even more for me. There was honestly a point where I almost didn’t release her at all because I kept thinking, what’s the point of dropping a Christmas avatar in May? But I still put so much time, effort, money, and love into her, and I didn’t want all of that work to go to waste fr. Releasing Carrie also helps support future avatars and projects I want to create later on. So even if she’s late, I still wanted to release her properly instead of abandoning her completely lol. ANDDD Thank you to everyone who’s been patient with me and supporting my work. It genuinely means more than you know. But I just wanted to put this out there.
