These socks are the most joyful and sweet thing I’ve designed. When I look at them I want to smile.
The lovely and effective stitch pattern is very easy and fun to make, even for a beginner. If You like sweet and lacey accessories, choose the version with nupps. If You prefer simple and timeless forms, choose the unisex version.

The socks are worked toe-up, seamlessly in the round. The heel is created with German Short Row method.

The socks were designed to be worn with about 1 – 2.5 cm / 0.5 – 1 “ of negative ease in width.

1 skien of Woollala Sock Merino ( 75% Wool - Merino, 25% Nylon / Polyamide; 420m / 459y per 100g ).
Feminine version shown in “Połoniny” colorway.
Unisex version shown in “Imperial Opal” colorway.
Or about { 290, 320, 350 } m / { 317, 350, 383 } y of any other fingering weight yarn.
Note that the yardage is estimated and depends on sock length.
NEEDLES
2.25 mm ( US #1 ) circular needles for magic loop or dpns, or size needed to get the right gauge.
ADDITIONAL MATERIALS
stitch markers, row counter, tapestry needle for weaving ends.
GAUGE
34 sts and 44 rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 “ - in Stockinette Stitch pattern worked in the round with 2. 25 mm ( US #1 ) needles, after wet blocking.
Adjust needle size if necessary to get given gauge.
