Predify

Predify, what it is

Predify is a prediction/reveal tool for mentalists, built on real Apple Music. On the phone it's the actual Apple Music app, with a real playlist and real songs. There's no fake interface.

What it does

An input is provided (by the performer or by the spectator on Inject or Elips), and a real Apple Music playlist ends up reflecting the prediction, a name, a word, a city… Because it's genuine Apple Music, the playlist can be updated even while a track is already playing.

Input methods

• Directly from the performer's phone.
• On the spectator's phone (in your hands): you enter the input via a short link, which then redirects to a page you preset (your site, a video, socials, inject link…).You simply hand the phone back afterward.
• A swipe screen, for eyes-free input.

The playlist is real

The songs are added to a genuine playlist in the Apple Music library. You can show it in the real Apple Music app, and if the spectator has Apple Music, they can open the same playlist and start it on their own phone.

Presets

You can prepare reusable predictions and trigger them with a short code. A preset works two ways:

• Acrostic : the first letters of the songs spell the answer.
• Sentence : the song titles, read in order, form a phrase. e.g. "You Will Choose The Seven Of Hearts."

Integrations (Elips & Inject)

Predify connects with Elips and Inject. If you already use either one, the spectator's choice can feed Predify automatically, the prediction places itself, hands-free.

The Elips integration also opens up more original ways to present it: beyond spelling out a word in the playlist, a freely chosen song can be revealed on its own, for example, by setting the volume up to show that it was playing since the beginning. (There's more to that side once you have it in hand.)

Other integrations are considered such as a iarvel integration for example.

Who it's for

It's a solo tool: no assistant, no props, just your phone.

Requirements

• An iPhone (the app installs to the home screen; it's a web app, not on the App Store).
• An active Apple Music subscription on the account you use.

Good to know (full transparency)

• The spectator only needs Apple Music if you want them to open/start the playlist and see the prediction on their phone.
• Everything runs on the single Apple Music account linked to your license.
• The app is fully customizable so the songs that are used for the prediction suit your style.
• Elips and Inject are separate tools.
