The Poem

In the depths of night, where shadows loom

And all around is shrouded in gloom

There roams a creature, pale and dread

The undead bride, with eyes of red.

Her dress is torn, her veil askew

Her face a mask of deathly hue

Her steps are slow, her movements jerky

Her presence sends shivers down your murky.

She comes to you in your darkest dreams

And whispers tales of macabre schemes

Of how she died and rose again

A cursed existence, full of pain.

She seeks revenge on the living ones

For all the harm they have done

To her, and those like her, who rest

Forevermore, in eternal unrest.

So beware, my friend, if you should meet

The undead bride, with eyes so sweet

For if you linger too long near

She'll make you one of her undead dears.

And then you too will roam the night

A creature of terror, filled with spite

Forever cursed to never rest

A living nightmare, at her behest.
