Social Story: Communication- Misunderstood Comment

Misunderstood Comment is an interactive PDHPE pathway story where students explore a classroom situation involving a comment that may have been taken the wrong way. Students make choices about how to respond, including whether to pause, ask for clarification, make assumptions, or seek support. The activity encourages students to build skills in empathy, perspective-taking, managing emotions, and understanding how communication choices can affect friendships and conflict.
