Acids and buffers are hard to revise from notes: students know the formulas but not which one to use. These cards are designed to help students understand acid–base chemistry, not just memorise it.

Each card has a question on the front and its answer on the next page, with answers written to match OCR mark schemes. Every card has a code (Ac-01, Ac-C1, Ac-Q1…) so students and teachers can track what has been revised.

The set works in four steps:

1. Core knowledge cards (Ac-01 to Ac-14): Brønsted–Lowry acids and bases, conjugate pairs, strong and weak acids, basicity, pH, Kw, Ka and pKa, buffers and how they work, titration curves, indicators, and the four curve shapes with their equivalence points
2. Logic map cards (Ac-Map 1 and 2): choose the right method for any pH calculation
3. Calculation workflow cards (Ac-C1 to Ac-C5): numbered steps for strong acid, weak acid, strong base and buffer pH, and pKa from a titration curve
4. Practice cards (Ac-Q1 to Ac-Q9): exam-style questions, up to 8 marks, with full worked answers
