Mornings on the homestead is a cute cabled and lace headbeand/earwarmer.
Never done cables? No worries! These are called baby cables, and no needle is required, I recorded a little video about how to work them.
Never done lace? No problem! this is a very easy lace pattern, so even if you've never done lace, you can do this!
I designed this so beginners could tackle lace and cables, and more seasoned knitters could have a fun, enjoyable knit.
I've been wearing this on cold, chilly spring mornings, doing some gardening, and taking care of the chickens, hence, mornings on the homestead.
Those days that are not cold enough for a hat, but you still want something to warm you up.
This is knit flat and seamed.

Yarn- Super Bulky
Yardage- 75 yards
Needles- 13s US
Finished size- 4 inches by 18 inches, this will fit most heads! My head is 23 inches, my mom's is 19 and it fits perfectly. You can always knit more or less to fit.
gauge- 12 stitches x 16 stitches = 4 inches. Gauge isn't super critical for this.
