Basic rhythm and sticking exercises for percussion. Play on any instrument with sticks, mallets, or hands. Rhythm Drills isolate each rhythmic unit and each bar should be repeated until comfortable; Rhythm Etudes combine the rhythmic units from the previous drill. Unit D covers a variety of quarter, dotted-eighth, and eighth note/rest rhythms in compound meter.
