This is a bottom up, seamless knit that is simple and fun to make. The Highgate Cardigan is suitable for intermediate knitters, or it’s a relaxing TV knit for those with more experience. Sizing
XS (S, M, L, XL // 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X), designed to fit with 7cm to 14cm positive ease at bust.

Yarn
DK weight yarn in a pure wool or wool blend:
5 (5, 6, 6, 7 // 7, 7, 8, 8) 100g skeins of standard DK weight yarn (210m/230yds per 100g skein).

Construction
The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the bottom up. After a ribbed cuff, sleeves are worked in the round, with tapered increases. Fronts and back are knit in one piece to the underarms, beginning with a ribbed hem and continuing with a cabled panel at front edges. Body and sleeves are then joined and raglan decreases are worked on the yoke, ending with a ribbed neckband. Stitches are picked up for buttonbands and underarms are grafted with Kitchener stitch.
