Gospel According to Jesus Christ
The words of Jesus Christ are unlike any other ever spoken. They are not merely historical sayings, nor are they philosophical reflections. They are spirit and life (John 6:63). His teachings cut through time, culture, and tradition, revealing the heart of God and inviting humanity into a living relationship with Him.
Over centuries, countless books have been written about Jesus—His life, His miracles, His death and resurrection. Yet, this book has one simple focus: to present the Gospel in Jesus’ own words, according to His own teachings. It seeks to answer: What exactly did Jesus teach? What themes and doctrines did He emphasize? What did He define as the “good news”?
This is not an attempt to reinterpret His message through modern lenses, but rather to listen carefully and faithfully to the words He spoke, as recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Here, His parables, His conversations, His commands, and His promises form the foundation for understanding the Kingdom of God, discipleship, love, salvation, and the hope of His return.
