The Peregrine FPP
Sew your own Peregrine falcon! This lifelike foundation paper pieced (FPP) block measures approx. 12 x 16" when finished and is suitable for those who have prior experience of FPP. It is all straight line sewing, no Y-seams, so if you have done FPP before you will be able to tackle this! The eye has some tiny piecing but it is entirely doable and looks so effective. The pattern includes a colouring page, detailed keys and the order in which to sew the sections together. On the second page there is also a code for money off the foundation paper I use! No instructions in how to actually paper piece are included, there are a lot of free tutorials available online. Finish the block as a cushion or wall hanging, or keep him to put in the wildlife quilt that the rest of my blocks are leading up to! Please follow me on @griffinandthebearstudio on Instagram for updates and the chance to vote on my upcoming designs, and please tag me in any of your finished blocks, I love to see! #GATBPatterns
Disclaimer - Some parts of the pattern (especially on the keys) may have overlapping letters and numbers that may be hard to read. This shouldn't affect the actual pattern pieces and is caused by the program I use and trying to keep the number of pages in the pattern to a minimum. Please get in touch if you need any help.
