What to say when children's behaviour is challenging?

We all have been there - a child started to paint on their hand, instead of a piece of paper; she decided to take her socks off and put them in the sink; they jumped on furniture as if it were a jumping pillow.

Using positive expressions is important and is aligned with the modern approach to behaviour as learning.
