Not Yet is built around a single mechanism: approach, interrupt, repeat. The stroke depth climbs gradually across the first half, shallow early, deeper as the minutes pass, and every time it gets close enough to feel like something is about to happen, it doesn't. Not because it stops. Because it redirects. A stroke that should have gone deep goes shallow instead. An upstroke slows mid-motion and the peak arrives late. The script holds at the ceiling a beat longer than expected then drags back slowly. None of the interruptions are the same. None of them feel fair.

Three times across the runtime it builds into what feels like the real thing...Timing tightens, depth approaches full, the loops compress into something that feels inevitable. Each time it breaks right after resolution feels like it started. Not before. After.

The final release arrives at forty minutes. The full depth that has been withheld since minute two finally comes, and the five minutes that follow it drive it home.
