ZORVA #1: The Black Cairn

Zorva enters a living Star-Walker gateway, battles its machine guardian, and returns with a map charting the spread of the Gloom.

The Black Cairn rises from the fog before dawn. It is not a monument. It is a throat. After creatures with a thousand tiny teeth attack her scouts, Zorva leads her warriors against the spreading Gloom. The Cairn answers her blood and opens a passage into a Star-Walker vault.

Inside, Zorva confronts an ancient mechanical hound and finds celestial charts mapping the expansion of the Gloom across worlds. She refuses the throne offered by the vault. She takes the map as a warning and walks back out.

ZORVA #1: The Black Cairn continues the mythotechnic dark-fantasy saga of Veyra, the Star-Walkers, and the Gloom.
