This hat and mittens set are the perfect accessories to wear while dreaming of warmer weather

and springtime flowers. Blowing Rock, NC is especially pretty in the spring, and knitters

descend into town every April for a cozy retreat. This set is for all such hopeful knitters longing for

spring!

The hat is worked from the brim up, with a ribbed brim (which can be worked deeper for a foldover

brim). Colorwork of spring flowers graces the body of the hat, and a band of colorwork is

featured in the crown.

The mittens feature a ribbed cuff leading into a sweet colorwork band. The majority of the

hand (and thumb) is worked in one color, but a colorwork band features on the center hand.
