The Story Behind This Course
Most people don't buy life insurance because they don't understand it. Not because they don't care about their families — because no one ever sat down and explained it to them in plain language.
I've spent my career watching that gap play out. As a licensed agent, I've sat across the table from clients who didn't know the difference between term and whole life, who had no idea what a beneficiary designation actually does, or who assumed insurance was something you dealt with "later" — until later became too late, or too expensive, or simply never came.
That gap is why I wrote Benefits of Life Insurance. It's why I built Maria Triplett Insurance around a simple promise: Protect. Prepare. Prosper. And it's why I built this course.
Life Insurance Fundamentals isn't a sales pitch. It's the conversation I wish every family could have before they need coverage instead of after. My four pillars — Protect, Invest, Empower, Legacy — aren't just a brand. They're the order operations actually happen in real life: you protect what you have, you build toward more, you learn enough to make your own confident decisions, and eventually, you leave something behind for the people you love.
This course exists so that by the time you talk to an agent — me or anyone else — you're not starting from zero. You're asking the right questions. You're not being sold to. You're deciding.
That's what it means to be a Life Changer®.
