for project file users:
project file is for After Effects only. *NO PLUGINS NEEDED*
import the file you want to use into your project and click on *OPEN ME*
directions for how to use the effect will appear.

for overlay users:
1. add the overlay to layer 1 / top layer
2 add the full edit / photo that you want to use to layer 2 / bottom layer
3. change the blend of the overlay to "darken" or whatever looks best for the app you're using
4. adjust opacity as needed.
