This is a vintage piece that is bordering on the antique line, but it is such an exquisite piece that I had to post it over here. This sleek and sophisticated piece of mid-century modern glassware from 1940-1950s has a stunning silver/chrome gradient fade transitioning from crystal clear at the base to a full metallic silver at the rolled rim, a Hallmark of this era. This is an unmarked piece so I cannot guarantee the maker, but this is definitely Dorothy Thorpe's style. Could even be Hollywood Regency-style and would look great as an accent piece that may just steal the show.
