Blue Diamond Mines

Banjo Tab PDF + TEF

From the Johnson Mountain Boys' Grammy®-nominated ninth album on Rounder Records, here's the tab for Tom's two banjo breaks plus the Ending.

At #1 on the Bluegrass Unlimited chart following the release of the album "Blue Diamond" in 1993, the song was a showcase for Dudley Connell's soaring vocals.

Written by Jean Ritchie, the Johnson Mountain Boys recorded Blue Diamond Mines with sparse instrumentation - Dudley Connell on guitar, Earl Yager on bass, and Tom Adams on banjo.

You get the tab for both full banjo breaks heard on the recording, tab for the ending, and descriptive notes that discuss the right-hand techniques used on this soulful performance.
