Tripping Upstairs - Irish jig sheet music for strings

Digital PDF sheet music - 4 part harmony arrangement of Tripping Upstairs.

This harmony arrangement is in four parts:

* melody line (the original tune)
* harmony 1
* harmony 2
* bass line

The harmonies and bass line are all provided in three versions: treble, alto and bass clef. This means the arrangements are flexible and can be used by various different instruments in duets, trios, quartets and larger groups.

You will receive various different versions of the score, plus individual instrument parts with the harmonies in all three clefs, so you can choose parts to use with a variety of different duos, trios, quartets and larger groups.

The scores are intended to be used as building blocks for creative musicians to build their own arrangements by weaving the different parts in and out, through multiple times through the tune.

However, you can also play a simple arrangement with all the parts in at once, so they can, for example, be used by a string quartet or string orchestra that needs a traditional Irish repertoire.

You can listen to a recording of these harmony parts used in an arrangement here.
