THE COLD FILES Featuring The Watching Moor + bonus story Ash to Dusk

THE COLD FILES

The Watching Moor, with the bonus origin story Ash to Dusk

Kinder Scout, present day. A young man runs across the moor with stolen powder in his pack and a mercenary two ridges behind him. The mercenary doesn’t miss. The moor has its own ideas.

The Watching Moor is a psychological survival thriller - fog, folklore, and the kind of paranoia that comes from being hunted on terrain older than the people hunting across it. Callum Walsh thinks he’s running from Riggs. Riggs thinks he’s running a clean recovery job. Neither of them has reckoned with what’s been watching from the mist.

Ash to Dusk is Riggs’ origin, pulled from a classified file. Basra, 2012. A desert assassination that went to plan. A dying man’s curse that didn’t. This is where the haunting starts.
