Pisgah is a bias, triangle shawl with a curved top edge, shaped by increases on one side and decreases on the other. The pattern begins with only a few cast-on stitches, and is worked sideways. A simple I-cord edge is worked simultaneously, and flows seamlessly into the I-cord bind off.

The pattern consists of 3 sections: a stockinette section, a striped section, and a textured section. Directions for the first two sections are written. Directions for the last section are both written and charted.

Gauge and yarn weight are not crucial to the pattern, but please keep in mind any changes will affect yardage and finished measurements.

990 yards (905 meters) DK weight yarn.
495 yards ( 452 meters) of yarn A,
165 yards ( 151 meters) of yarn B,
330 yards ( 302 meters) of yarn C.
