TRADING OPTIONS FOR A LIVING MASTERCLASS PART 1
Learn Options Properly — Before You Start Trading Them
Most retail options education is either too shallow, too chaotic, or too focused on disconnected strategies. This masterclass takes a different approach. Instead of teaching options as a glossary of random terms,
Part 1 teaches you how to think before you ever touch an options chain. You will learn a practical framework built around five key decisions:
- What is my market view?
- How big a move do I need?
- How long do I need to be right?
- Am I buying or selling expensive volatility?
- What is the cleanest defined-risk structure for this idea?
This makes options easier to understand, easier to apply, and far more useful than the standard “what is a call / what is gamma” type approach. The goal of this session is simple:
to help you build a stronger foundation so you can understand options more clearly, assess risk more intelligently, and choose better structures from the start.
Important: This Is Part 1 of a 2-Part Live Series
This session is the first half of my new live options masterclass series.
Part 1 — Getting Started in Options Trading
How to think about options properly, understand the real basics in context, and build a smarter decision process before trading.
Part 2 — Trading Options for a Living
The practical implementation session covering strategy baskets, Renko-based execution, debit spreads, credit spreads, 0DTE, moonshots, brokers, account rules, and the real-world trading plan.
Bundle Option Available
If you want the full framework, the best-value option is the bundle, which includes:
- Part 1
- Part 2
- PDF copy of the book in May as your pre-masterclass warm-up guide
If you are serious about building a complete options framework, the bundle is the strongest route.
What You’ll Learn in Part 1
In this live session, you will learn:
- why traders use options instead of simply buying or shorting stock
- how to think about options as a decision process, not just a list of definitions
- how calls, puts, premium, expiry, and payoff structures work in practical terms
- how to assess:
- market view
- required move size
- time horizon
- volatility pricing
- structure fit
- how to read the options chain without getting overwhelmed
- how to think about Delta, Gamma, Theta and Vega as practical risk tools
- how to understand when a position has:
- too much directional exposure
- too much time decay
- too much volatility exposure
- too much twitchiness near expiry
- how to avoid common beginner mistakes that damage retail options traders
This is designed to help you arrive at Part 2 with a much stronger grasp of how options actually behave.
The Teaching Approach
This is not a generic YouTube-style options class. I am teaching this from the perspective of someone who traded options professionally and understands that options are really about:
- pricing
- risk
- volatility
- timing
- structure
- execution
That means this session is built to be:
- practical
- structured
- retail-friendly
- commercially useful
- grounded in real decision-making rather than noise
Who This Is For
This session is for traders who:
- are new to options and want a serious foundation
- have traded a few options already but know their understanding is shaky
- want a better way to think about risk before placing trades
- want more than surface-level YouTube explanations
- want a framework that leads naturally into real-world strategy application in Part 2
This is not designed as hype, signals, or get-rich-quick nonsense.

FAQ SECTION
Is this a standalone masterclass or part of a series?
This is Part 1 of a 2-part live options masterclass series.
You can take this session on its own, but it is designed to lead naturally into Part 2, which covers the practical strategy and implementation side.
A bundle option is also available for traders who want both sessions plus the PDF book in May.
Do I need Part 2 as well?
No. Part 1 can stand on its own and gives you a much stronger understanding of how options work and how to think about them properly.
That said, if you want the full framework — from understanding options through to actually building a trading plan around them — then the bundle is the best option.
Why should I learn from you?
I traded options professionally at Koch, one of the world’s major trading firms, and this training is built around that real-world background.
I do not teach options as fluff or social-media noise. I teach them as a practical decision process built around pricing, risk, volatility, structure, and execution.
I’m not from the US. Can I still trade options?
Yes, in many cases you can — but it depends on your country, your broker, your account type, and the permissions available to you.
The wider options framework focuses mainly on US stocks, ETFs, and indices because that is where much of the liquidity and opportunity sits. Part 2 also covers broker access, international considerations, and account realities in more detail.
You should always check what is available in your own jurisdiction and through your chosen broker.
Is this suitable for beginners?
Yes — but it is not fluffy.
This is built for retail traders who want a serious, practical introduction to options without being buried in unnecessary jargon or disconnected theory.
Will this make me money?
No course or masterclass can honestly promise that. What this training can do is help you understand options more clearly, manage risk more intelligently, and avoid many of the mistakes that damage retail traders.
Whether you make money depends on your execution, discipline, risk management, account size, market conditions, and how seriously you apply what you learn.
Is this financial advice?
No. This is educational training designed to help you understand options, risk, and strategy selection more clearly. You remain fully responsible for your own trading decisions.
Do I get the book with this product?
The PDF book in May is included with the bundle. If you are buying Part 1 on its own, this page is for the live session only unless otherwise stated.
