Planxty No. 12 is a previously unknown Carolan air from the Grier ms, followed by a lively Scottish tune from the Skene ms. They can be played as a set or separately. The Carolan tune is in 3/4, gently and courtly, and has 3 parts. To Dance About the Bailzeis Dubb is a lively dance tune in common time.
Both tunes are written out with repeats played slightly differently the second time. Arranged in traditional style, with grace notes written in. Versions are given with and without fingering.
