How do Weigh Stations Work?

When a truck approaches a weigh station, it is required to pull into a designated lane and stop on a scale. The truck driver will then be asked to provide their driver's license, truck registration, and other relevant documents to the weigh station attendant. The attendant will then use a computer system to enter the truck's information and generate a weight ticket.

Once the weight ticket is generated, the attendant will review it to determine if the truck is in compliance with regulations. If the truck is overweight, the driver will be issued a citation and may be required to unload some of the cargo.

By following these tips, you can help to ensure that you are compliant with weigh station regulations and that you are operating your truck safely.
