MECHA DESIGN DOSSIER 01 explores the design and physical construction of the T5 SYLER MECH, the fifth evolution of an original brick-built mechanical character by Marco Marozzi.

This is not a step-by-step building manual. It is a visual design dossier documenting how the machine was conceived, constructed and progressively refined. Starting from the feet, the book follows the decisions that shaped the legs, pelvis, torso, shoulders, arms and overall balance of the final model.

The dossier includes:

• studio photography of the completed T5 SYLER MECH;
• a ground-up account of the physical building process;
• close-up studies of armour, joints and exposed mechanisms;
• a T4-to-T5 comparison based on five key design decisions;

Built from approximately 90% LEGO elements and 10% custom parts, the T5 SYLER combines layered armour, structural Technic elements and organic Bionicle forms to create a machine that feels solid, articulated and mechanically plausible.
