Well well well, I've managed to recreate my old Reference Sheet Bases just in time for the New Year! Happy New Year to all who celebrate it! All of you have been so nice in supporting me by purchasing these bases, I appreciate them alot!
REMINDERS: These come in ZIP files! You need a ZIP Opener installed on your device (Which you can easily download) to open the ZIP, which has all of the files in it. If you still can't open it however, please note me your Gmail and I will add you to a GDrive! It is also recommended that you erase PSDs/Compressed PSDs/PNGs in this set if you are not going to use it as this set is quite large.
RULES
-Please take note that this applies to all of my bases, including my past ones.
You should:
-Credit me in the description. Saying "Base credit on image" is not enough unless the image clearly states "Base by Falconicon"
You may:
-Use these bases to make references of a character.
-Make adopts using these bases.
-Make Customs using these bases.
-Edit these bases to your liking.
-Trace these bases as practice, HOWEVER you must have bought the set AND if posted anywhere, state CLEARLY AND PROPERLY that the original lineart is from my paid base! I do prefer if you did not post it at all, however.
-Share edits to people who have bought the base.
You may not:
-Remove my Watermark. You may, however, move the watermark if it gets in the way of editing. You may also remove extra watermarks as long as there is at least one of my watermarks present on the image.
-*Make paid YCHs, base fills, or similar commissions on the bases. Doing them for free is okay, however.
-**Merge these bases with another artist's bases.
-Heavily Reference/Trace/Copy my bases to make your own.
-Share the individual and unedited pieces of lineart to ANYBODY.
-Claim the lineart as yours.
-Use these for NSFW intentions
-Redistribute these bases for ANY REASON.
*Clarification: Yes,paid adopts and customs are okay to use on the bases, however you cannot put a pre-existing character on the base and be paid for it.
**Clarifiction: You are free to merge my bases with my other bases. You are also free to add my bases into an image with another artist's bases (For example, a reference sheet using my fullbody bases and there is a reference of the head using another artist's base) However, you cannot merge the lineart into one another themselves (Editing the head of my bases onto the body of another artist's bases, for example)
So I have redrawn most of the bases included in the old set, and here are the changes made to the new set in comparison to the old one:
-Added Fullbody Frontviews. This was a cancelled project in the old set that I managed to do this time.
-Fullbodies and some headshots now have complete scaleless and scaled bases.
-Fullbody Sideviews now have "Folded Wing/s" options.
-Fullbody Ventral Views/Bottomviews now have a legs option and a limb slice option.
-Fullbody Chibis are made partially with dragonets in mind too for dragonet references.
-Regular Headshots now have a Headshot (Neckless) and Bust (with Neck) option.
-Chibi Headshots now are in Neutral, Joyful, Sad, Annoyed, Surprised, and Fearful expressions instead of Neutral, Happy, Sad, Angry, Surprised, and Fearful.
-Mouth Shots now include most of the head instead of being just a mouth shot.
-Both Talons and Chibi talons are now flat instad of dynamic. Along with that, the talons now come in all the tribes and their scales instead of being generalized like in the old set.
-Some tribe eggs have a V2 version to them.
-The brush used for this set is more paint-bucket friendly and crisper than the old blurry brush I used for the old set.
-The fullbody parts included in the set are now decently seperate for the convenience of making hybrids. The parts are now head, neck, body, tail, each leg, and each wing, which are further seperated by scale detail, talons, etc, instead of being just scaleless and scaled.
-The PNG parts included are now in sheets for ease of navigation and less clutter. These are named "Trait Sheets".
-Due to the sheer size the PSD files are in the pack, this set also includes Low Quality PSDs for slow-running devices or programs unable to handle the size.
-The new set doesn't come with palette styles.
-The new sets are more arranged into the ZIP file. Less confusion, however more folders.
-The new set doesn't currently come with Beetlewing tribes HOWEVER will be added once the design for them is canonized, and an additional Beetlewing design in MY OWN DESIGN will be added alongside the canon one.
-The count for completed bases is at 550+, which is more fitting for the "500+ bases" name I gave the old set, which only had about 200 Bases, but reached 500 due to parts, which I now feel is extremely misleading on my part so I aimed to change that. This current set reaches around 700+ individual pieces of lineart, 550+ of which are complete bases which can be filled in without editing.
-The new set doesn't come with premade Reference Sheets. This is solely due to the fact that one preset reference sheet simply cannot be a "one size fits all" thing. Some characters may need more than 1 fullbody, some characters may not. Some owners may only want a simple reference sheet, while others want their reference sheet to have all the fixings. This is also because when they're all fitted into one sheet without being colored in, they're often too blurry and resized to color.
-Included a new improved 100 adopts grid, as they now indicate "dominant" and "recessive" tribes
If you see any mistakes or anything missing in the set, please note me and I'll fix it when I can. Do not comment as there is a chance that I might not see it. Also, do not notify me about the bonuses included in the previous set being missing here, as they were only bonuses.
