UK Sinking Funds & Savings Pots Dashboard | Savings Goals Excel Spreadsheet
One savings balance. Lots of things to save for.
Christmas, car costs, holidays, school expenses, birthdays, home repairs and annual bills can all compete for the same savings.
The MoneySavvyUK UK Sinking Funds & Savings Pots Dashboard helps you organise them in one easy-to-use Excel workbook.
What you can do:
✓ Create up to 30 savings pots
✓ Track target amounts and target dates
✓ Use Target + Date or Ongoing pots
✓ Record deposits and withdrawals
✓ See current balance, amount remaining and progress
✓ Calculate monthly funding amounts from the targets you enter
✓ See costs coming up within 30, 60 and 90 days
✓ View target costs across the next 12 months
✓ Keep a transaction history
✓ Compare your virtual pots with the real savings balances you enter
✓ Spot unallocated or overallocated money
One useful difference
You don't need a different bank account for every savings goal.
For example, you could have £5,000 in one savings account but want £800 reserved for Christmas, £600 for car costs, £1,500 for a holiday and the rest for other goals.
The Where My Money Is section compares the actual savings balances you enter with the money allocated across your virtual pots and shows whether they are Fully Allocated, Unallocated or Overallocated.
Use it for: Christmas, holidays, car insurance, MOT and servicing, school costs, birthdays and gifts, home repairs, annual subscriptions, planned purchases, irregular annual expenses and your own custom savings goals.
