House Pride Hat

This pattern is a great stash buster! It also includes instructions for a matching cowl.

Inspired by the magical schools of witchcraft and wizardry, this is the stash buster of your dreams! Using scraps, mix and match your colors to create your perfect hat to showcase your school spirit, house pride, or whatever your heart desires!

Skill level: Beginner

Materials:

Super Bulky yarn (6) - about 60 - 87 yards
About 7-8 yards for each contrasting repeat
US 13/ 9mm 16” circular needles
US 15/ 10mm 16” circular needles and/ or dpns

Bulky (5) - about 80 - 90 yards
About 9-10 yards for each contrasting repeat
US 10/ 6mm 16” circular needles
US 11/ 8mm 16” circular needles and/or dpns

Light Bulky - about 110 - 120 yards total
About 10 -12 yards for each contrasting repeat
US 8/ 5mm 16” circular needles
US 10.5/ 6.5mm 16” circular needles and/ or dpns

Worsted - about 135-155 yards
About 11 -12 yards for each contrasting repeat
US 7/ 4.5mm 16” circular needles
US 9/ 5.5mm 16” circular needles and/ or dpns
