This set includes 12 comprehensible readings in Spanish about La Nochevieja / New Year's traditions from across Latin America and Spain. Each tradition is about a paragraph long. The variety in these traditions will keep your students engaged whether you choose to use them for a gallery walk, whole class readings, warm ups, or digitally. Each reading has glossed words at the bottom that may be less common to your students, and each reading includes a picture to represent the tradition. This set is editable if you would like to change the wording, add a new tradition, or skip one. I use this resource over two days in my classroom; but they can easily be extended for more!
