Fearless Knitting Classes
I believe that anyone can learn to knit and any knitter can learn any technique, all you need are the right resources, a bit of patience, and the willingness to try something new. I want to be that resource and help you take the next step on your knitting journey, no matter where you are now.
At the moment all knitting classes are in person in Owensboro, KY. If you are interested in online classes, don't see the specific class you would like to take, or don't see a time offered that works for you, please contact me at synapticstitches@gmail.com so we can work out the best option for you.
Intro to Knitting
Welcome to the wonderful world of knitting! Over the course of four classes, this series will teach you to cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, and bind off. You will also get tips and tricks to help you choose your next knitting project and succeed at whatever you choose. By the end of the class you will have knit a basic hat.
The next round of classes will be on the Brescia University campus from 10-12 on January 7, 14, 21, and February 4.
Cost: $60. You can choose to bring your own materials to class (you will be provided with a list of supplies needed when you register), or for an additional $80 you can purchase a knitting starter kit that will be provided to you on the first day of class and will include all supplies for your class.
