Escape Pods

A single-player linear equations game for 8th grade. Solve multi-step equations to rescue the crew, sort equations into one, no, or infinitely many solution pods, and finish with a skills report for 8.EE.C.7a and 8.EE.C.7b.

• Single player: each student plays on their own Chromebook, laptop or tablet.
• A world map with 6 levels and 2 boss battles. Levels get harder after 3 right in a row and easier after a miss.
• Missed problems come back for a second chance. New problems every time you play.
• Ends with a skills report: every skill marked Mastered, Still learning, Needs help or Not reached, the student's common mistakes, missed problems with the right answers, and what to practice next. Printable, with a check code teachers can verify.
• No student logins. Works offline once downloaded.
