ZORVA #5: Draska Lionward

A fire-wreathed exile marches toward Red Canyon carrying a fragment of Drakkon’s Lion-Core. The host demands his head. Draska chooses capture over execution and delivers a living question to the King.

Before Malgrom forged the Lion-Core ring, Draska rode lionward under King Drakkon’s command.

A burning exile approaches Red Canyon. Something ancient moves within him, answering a call from beneath the earth. Drakkon orders Draska to cut him down, but killing him would scatter the fragment and destroy their only witness.

Draska defeats the exile, binds his axe, and takes him alive. Her decision places a dangerous alien intelligence inside the King’s walls and sends the question onward to Malgrom’s forge.

A mythic dark-fantasy story of combat, judgment, and defiance.
