"Breath, Think, Write" – A Self-Coaching tool


Breath Think Write (BTW) self-coaching exercising technique makes big promises. Achieving those promises depends on you—both in committing to the BTW sessions and in carrying out the actions that come up during them.

It is important to understand that in all such practices—whether self-coaching or guided coaching—the results rely entirely on your own activity.

I want to add another perspective. With self-coaching, there is no “exposure” to the outside world of things we may wish to hide from others. It does not matter whether it is a major secret or something small we are ashamed of—working on these issues is often much easier through self-coaching.

Because self-coaching is between you and yourself. It does not depend on anyone else. It is only you, face-to-face with yourself.

I believe this makes it easier to touch on certain topics. It also makes it easier to choose not to touch on others. You do not need to dive immediately into the deepest, most personal issues. You can move at your own pace—slowly, safely, and reach those deeper topics when you are ready and able.

I have great faith in human potential. I fear that we often fail to value ourselves correctly. I believe that through self-coaching, we can uncover more layers within ourselves. I believe you have the strength to make the right decision—one that will truly serve you.

The BTW tool is a tool for life. It is not temporary. It is a tool I hope you will use from the day you purchase the manual until the day you leave this world—surrounded by people with whom you have built strong, loving, and supportive connections.
