Businesswoman Emma and Student Bree both crutch into the orthopedist's office for an appointment and find that they are broken toe buddies. Emma has been hobbling around of her casted broken toe for weeks on a walking cast so she can get around and do her work. Meanwhile Bree just recently stubbed her toe badly enough that she can't put a shoe on it and has to walk around in a half shoe instead. They both discuss the difficulty in getting around and the looks they get out in public with their odd footwear until each woman is called in separately for their appointment. Bree comes out sporting a new bandage on her big toe and now they are even more alike. looks like Bree will be wearing her half shoe for some time unless she wants her foot casted as well. Emma suggests they take big toe selfies and then they both decide to head out together. They stop at the vending machine downstairs to get a snack and find a place to sit where they check out each other’s bandaged and plastered toes.
