So, you are a traveler AND you’re into a healthIER lifestyle? I got you. How about you keep your focus on the historical & cultural sights, and I’ll back your wellbeing on the trip? I’ve created something I’d love to have had myself on my travels, so I could be sure that wellness-supporting choices are easy and natural in the city I visit.


The Málaga Wellness Map includes 148 handpicked pins across Málaga city and the surrounding areas and offers 8 layers of common wellness concepts on every level (+ a bonus Layer 0 with the main city landmarks for your convenient use).

You know best what wellness means to you, so you can always open the Map Legend and filter which layers you’d love to keep and which to remove.


On my end, the main goal was to save you hours of research while preparing for your trip, giving you answers to the main questions: healthIER menus near you, whether you can do a drop-in gym sesh abroad, how to book it, whether there are outdoor classes and running clubs you could join, whether you can find your soulmate community and attend a spiritual gathering or a creative event — when and where.


Choosing your wellness on a trip does not necessarily mean doing all the routines you do at home (but if you’d love to, that’s awesome!). It means knowing that some choices come from your core values, so you keep things in balance — exploring novelty while keeping a few non-negotiables.

Offers breakfast & brunch spots, plant-based cafés, and even a few healthIER dessert options + vegan ice cream.

🔋 Layer 2: Drop-in Gyms | Outdoor Gyms | Fitness Classes | Ice Baths [22 pins]

Offers gyms with day/weekly passes, outdoor playgrounds, outdoor fitness classes, and several ice bath options.

🔋 Layer 3: Indoor & Outdoor Yoga | Pilates | Running Clubs [11 pins]

Offers both mat and reformer pilates options, as well as indoor and outdoor yoga. If you usually practice in an indoor studio at home, there are a few classes on the beach that you can join as a drop-in! What could be better than having a great movement session with a sea view? If Strava is one of your favorite apps, then I got you. There are several running clubs in the city offering social runs and networking — you can join them any week you’re in Málaga.

🔋 Layer 4: Spiritual Wellness [10 pins]

Offers masters and spiritual events in Málaga and the surrounding areas. Andalusia is quite famous for its spiritual circle — there are plenty of English-friendly gatherings, workshops, and retreats you can join. Links are provided so you can do your own energy vibe check and reach out to the master that clicks with your soul, as well as consult the schedule of upcoming events. Here you’ll find sound healing, ecstatic dance, deep-flow massage, breathwork & more.

🔋 Layer 5: SPA & Recovery [10 pins]

Offers experiences to properly nourish and recharge, because as we all know: deep rest is part of efficient progress. Choose time in a SPA or additional treatments — you’ll find the booking links directly by clicking on the pins. Most SPA venues are located outside Málaga, so plan wisely!

Offers several markets with fresh foods, organic stores, and concept shops with little details that won’t leave you indifferent. If you enjoy very fresh organic products and tiny aesthetic things, you’ll love this layer.

🔋 Layer 7: Nature & Chill | City Walks [24 pins]

Offers my personal suggestions and spots that have contributed to my inner peace multiple times in Málaga. I’m personally a big fan of nature and stunning views with fewer people, so the green pins on the map will show some of my favorite places and city walk itineraries with notes.

🔋 Layer 8: Creative Workshops | Experiences | Social Wellness [20 pins]

One of the fundamental parts of our wellbeing is to belong. We want to be part of the tribe, and this is where apps like Meetup or local/nomad communities can have a big impact in helping you find your people. Instead, I tried to mention a few other creative and social plans that you could consider.


So… I guess now you’re all covered? The flight is booked, the accommodation is paid for, the TikToks for the cultural program are saved — and now this: your wellness layer right on Google Maps, so you can bring at least a couple of healthy habits with you to a new city.
