The Competition Mindset
A 4-Week Mental Performance Program for Athletes
Physical skills are trained through repetition. Mental skills can be trained too.
The Competition Mindset is a four-week guided program designed to help athletes strengthen the mental side of competition—not just for one event, but throughout their athletic journey.
Over four weeks, athletes work on the skills that can make competition challenging: confidence, pressure, focus, mistakes, expectations, setbacks, winning, losing, and learning how to reset and keep moving forward.
Inside the program, athletes will work on:
- Building confidence that isn't dependent on winning
- Understanding fear, pressure, and expectations
- Separating facts from the stories we tell ourselves
- Focusing on what they can control
- Developing stronger and more productive self-talk
- Creating a personal reset routine
- Handling distractions and staying present
- Using visualization as part of mental preparation
- Receiving feedback without letting it define them
- Responding to wins and losses with perspective
- Building resilience after difficult performances
- Creating their own competition mindset and comeback plan
The goal isn't to create an athlete who never gets nervous, doubts themselves, or has a bad performance.
It's to develop an athlete who has the tools to handle those moments when they happen.
Build confidence. Handle pressure. Compete with purpose.
