In the city of Nashville, Pluckerz, a known urban lounge, opens its doors to all types of people, thugs, drug dealers, and even lovers. 

Makiyah Martin is a young woman in school, on her way to becoming a physical therapist, when she stumbles upon Ricky, a local retired thug who now has his riches from the food trucks he’s pushing all over town. Ricky, who was looking for love in Makiyah, quickly finds it, and sparks like the end of a joint fly when the pair become a couple. As life would have it, Ricky’s got skeletons in his closet that Makiyah chooses to accept, and some of those bones belong to his bitter baby mama, Trinity, the mother of his first-born son, Marlo. 

Even with past and current beefs with Trinity, Makiyah and Ricky’s relationship couldn’t be better, and their life together is set and sealed when they get married in Cozumel, Mexico. The honeymoon becomes a disaster when tragedy and a horrific event strikes Ricky and Makiyah’s bedroom, leaving her to completely start her life over, possibly on her own. 

After life takes a nasty turn for Makiyah, her world is shaken and spun completely upside down, leading her down the path of drugs, where her best friend, La’Miyah sees cause for counseling. If Makiyah doesn’t get the help she needs, she’ll end up a young, broken-hearted, bitter young woman, and the stress and trials that could come from that would be horrendous.

Seven months after her honeymoon gone wrong, Makiyah still feels like the unluckiest person in the world, until the door to possible happiness blows back open, but this time, walking through it won’t be as easy as it was before. 

Makiyah chose a bad boy before, and it didn’t play out according to plan, but when a real thug chooses her, the broken pieces of her heart that had been shattered could come together if she plays her hand right.

I just need to know who killed Ricky. Trinity need to take several seats and know her place.Makiyah made me mad when she made that major decision why she was still depressed she should have saw it ass a gift from god and she would have had a piece of Ricky with her always to hold on to even if she had to let Mimi and Less raise baby Rhyan until she got her s*** together. Makiyah need to spend some time with Ricky's kids and stop be selfish and realize they lost their father too.

***** Girl what is really going on is Ricky really dead because Dro just happened to appear out of nowhere at a tough time in Mikayah life. If not his spirit is in ol dude but this twist is something because why is Dro n Trinity together n why would she send him to get Ricky old things!!! Omg I can’t wait for part 2!! Dang it u would!!!!

***** Now I’m anxious to find out who did it. Trinity has a lot of nerve and exactly what is her connection to Dro. Mimi deserves some happiness and although Makiyah is grieving what Less said to her was definitely true...Who shot Ya?????

***** Wow this was a great story and can't wait to dive into Part 2 . Makiyah Martin was a women who love hard and only wanted to spend the rest of her life with Ricky. My heart break to see her going through so much in such a short time in her life. Can say that the Love her and Ricky share was so real and he would do anything to make her happy even after death. The moment Dro ran over Makiyah his and her life change for better. I like how he was so concern about her and not about maybe going to jail. This story touch me and it show me that even though as women we are strong sometime we still need to ask from help from a professional .

***** My heart went out to Makiyah. She was happy and unhappy in a matter of hours. Ricky was her life and someone ripped it away from her. Mimi has been her backbone and there every step of the way. Trinity is a sad case and i wouldn't put anything pass her. Could she be behind this turmoil. Where did Dro come from and is he trying to pry into Makiyah life only to finish taring her down. Aniyah has a kindred soul towards Makiyah. Will Mr. Clancy be able to give Makiyah the answers she been looking for. I need pt.2 cuz i have questions that need answered

***** I can only imagine how Makilya feel with all the losses in her life! At times we get of path but we end up back on the right path in due time! It’s extremely important to get help when grieving! I too! For whatever reason I think the person behind things is Trinity stanky ass but we shall see or maybe it’s cause I don’t like that bihhhh

***** It started off slow but it got better I hope part 2 a little longer more storylines and characters can't wait to read what happened in part 2
