House Swap Agreement

House swaps are built on trust, but plenty of practical details can become assumptions. Who is staying, whether guests or pets are allowed, what areas are private, who is responsible if something is damaged, what happens if plans change, and what condition the home should be left in are all much easier to deal with when they’re agreed upfront.

The House Swap Agreement gives both parties a practical place to record those expectations before the stay begins.

It can be used for a traditional house-for-house swap, a time-separated exchange, a home exchanged for another asset, or an agreed service exchange.
