GRACE AND MERCY – My Grace is Sufficient by Bro H
Spoken Intro “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit— and that your fruit should remain.” Verse 1 “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, with loving-kindness I have drawn you.” I called you before you understood the calling; My grace was at work before you ever knew. You could not open your own understanding; No hand of flesh could make the blind eye see. My grace is divine influence upon you— Turning your heart and drawing you to Me. Chorus “My grace is sufficient for you; My strength is made perfect in weakness.” I called you, I keep you, I strengthen and settle you; My loving-commitment will carry you through. What human labor could never produce, My grace is bringing life within you. “My grace is sufficient for you; My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Verse 2 To each of you I gave a gift to steward— A divine gratuity you did not earn. Some teach the truth; some serve their brethren; Some stand as watchmen while the night fires burn. “As each one has received a gift, Minister it to one another,” As faithful stewards of My manifold grace, Each using it to serve his brethren. Spoken Refrain The gift is not yours because you deserved it. I gave it for the service Of your brethren. Be a faithful steward. Do not bury it. Verse 3 “For the grace of God that brings salvation Has appeared to all men, teaching you To deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, And live soberly, righteously, and godly in this age.” My grace will never make peace with rebellion Or free you to continue living in sin. “If you love Me, keep My commandments”— I write upon the heart what once stood on stone. Chorus “My grace is sufficient for you; My strength is made perfect in weakness.” I called you, I keep you, I strengthen and settle you; My loving-commitment will carry you through. What human labor could never produce, My grace is bringing life within you. “My grace is sufficient for you; My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Verse 4 You will suffer a while before the Kingdom; My grace does not promise that pain will depart. But your suffering will not be without purpose; My power will rest on you when you are weak. The God of all grace has called you Into His eternal glory through Me. After you have suffered a while, He will Perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. Bridge “My sheep hear My voice, And I know them, And they follow Me. I give them life age-enduring; And no one shall pluck them Out of My hand.” Final Chorus “My grace is sufficient for you; My strength is made perfect in weakness.” I chose you, I called you, I gifted and taught you; My loving-commitment will carry you through. What human labor could never produce, My grace is bringing life within you. “My grace is sufficient for you; My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Spoken Outro “Fear not, little flock, For it is your Father’s good pleasure To give you the Kingdom.”
