She Rises
Written following a Women’s Day service on 10 August 2025, She Rises was born from a message rooted in Genesis 2 and Proverbs 31. From this sermon emerged a song of encouragement, identity, and spiritual strength for women in today’s world.
In Genesis, the woman is called an “ezer” (עֵזֶר) the Hebrew word for helper, meaning strong support, rescuer, and one who brings strength alongside another. This same word is often used to describe God as the helper of His people, revealing the dignity, strength, and divine purpose placed within women from creation.
This song celebrates women as God’s creation, formed with purpose, dignity, and courage. It speaks life and affirmation over every woman, reminding her that she is called, strengthened by God, and able to rise with faith and confidence in every season.
