LLH Lesson 4- Show & Tell, Salvation

Show & Tell Salvation — The Greatest Story You Can Tell

How do you explain salvation to children in a way they can understand, remember, and share with someone else?

Show & Tell Salvation is a complete, ready-to-use children’s ministry lesson that walks children through the Gospel using simple object lessons, memorable colors, Scripture, music, a little laughter, and a clear invitation to respond to Jesus.

Children begin with a mysterious book with no words—but don’t tell them what the colors mean just yet! As the lesson unfolds, they’ll meet Leroy, practice 2 Corinthians 6:2 with a giant Oreo puzzle, and watch an unforgettable science object lesson showing that we cannot cleanse our own hearts from sin—but Jesus can forgive us and make us clean.

Then it’s finally time to “read” the Gospel-color book:

🖤 Dark — We have all sinned.

❤️ Red — Jesus gave His life for us.

🤍 White — Jesus forgives and cleanses us.

💚 Green — We grow in Jesus and tell others.

💛 Gold — Heaven is our wonderful home.

The lesson leads naturally into an invitation and altar call, giving children an opportunity to respond to the Gospel. And the story doesn’t end when class is over! Each child can take home a Gospel-color ribbon bookmark and use it to show and tell someone else the Good News.
