Is a Library needed just to display and make slideshows available? Where is the evidence? The world's largest database for a library it is at the Library of Congress, which has no slideshows to display. The Internet Archive a large Digital Library has no slideshows to display. That goes a long way as evidence. The world has no dedicated Digital Library for slideshows. Now there is, and this is their Facebook group. Our Digital Library has approximately 3,000 slideshows to display. The majority can be downloaded as PDF files for your own studies at any time. Most of the slides are completely free and a few are also available for purchase in our Digital Store. There is a link to this. GSL has two subdivisions that use the Swedish language. Links are available to these departments. Swedish and English are the languages that appear within the Global Slideshow Library. We have also linked to other libraries or the like and calculate that these links provide approximately 100 million searchable objects (Digital) GSL works great to put on a computer's desktop and then the GSL page can find what you are looking for. For those who teach or speak in front of groups and for those who enjoy the subject of History, GSL will mean a boost in terms of opportunities. The lack of functioning slide shows similar to picture books is very great. These are able to study at a distance. Which is of great importance, not least this was noticed during the covid 19 Pandemic.
